Reviews of Apple G5 Dual 2.0GHz Desktop Computer Feature: Limited internal drive options, cant accept many user upgrades or digi001. Quality: Nice so far, a bit loud in the fan and disk drive department, VERY loud when all the fans are on... Value: If you have the money, you can, with software, build this into the most advanced studio in the world. IF you have the cash, but as there are no other real competitors, this is an amazingly powerful tool that the upper average guy can work with. Desirability: It looks like a gym locker, plus no creepy HAL white light, (its much smaller and aluminum-covered.) If you like retro, then maybe, otherwise it looks like slightly over-masculine with a feminine smoothness, like the decor of an all-male bar. Its REALLY heavy, and the Apple Disply screen looks nice, but doesn't match at all. Its not really that incredibly attractive, or even temporarily shocking, (like apple's past designs.) Sound: with Digi002 Support: based on past experience applecare is very handy. Overall: Still the best, the most powerful, the easiest to use ---IF you can gather and afford to entirely drop all of your pennies.
