Reviews of Event 2020bas V2 Bi-Amplified Studio Monitors Sound: Not Better or Worse than the Mackies, just different. I spent several hours with each, and while I liked the mackies, I would probably chose the Events. Just a more pleasing sound to me, while still being true. Studio monitors don't have to be sterile to be true, these have a very true & flat response, and great phase relations to the music you are putting through them. I also loved the low end frequency response that the Events put out. Definately worth a listen. Like I said, not better or worse than Mackies, just different.
