Reviews of Event TR8 Tuned Reference Biamplifier Studio Monitors Sound: Nice flat even sound. Mixed one project on these straight out of the box, and got great results. Once I figured out how to translate the bass response(which can be heavy if you are not careful) my mixes started coming out the way I wanted, and were pretty consistant. The mix that I did also translated on a surround sound system, car stereo with the Monsoon 10 speaker system, a sony walk man, and a audiovox boombox, and I got the same sound and mix. I love these speakers and I'm currently working on another project and will be mixing in about another month.I've had these monitors for about a year now, and I still love them. Don't sell these babies short by a long shot, They are worth the money!!! I'm also thinking about getting the TR5s to go along with them.
