Reviews of Gibson Historic 1958 Les Paul Plain Top Electric Guitar Feature: i thought the materials were top of the line. Quality: i didn't inspect it to well but all i can say is that i see pictures of this guitar in catalogs and hanging up at guitar stores and i can almost say i am sexually attracted to this guitar. Value: personally i think the price is a bit outrageous, it's just like a perfected paul. the price is exaggerated. Sound: i think this is an awsome guitar. has a nice crisp sound and characterizes fat. sounds great with distortion and warm and full with both clean and distorted tones. i would love to own one of these guitars. i might be a little afraid to take it to a live show but i'd have to get over that. Support: no. but i hear great things so i'll put 10 Overall: well i can't help looking at other stuff but this would always be one of my main axes.. If i could ever afford it.
