Reviews of Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar (With Case) Feature: I ordered mine with a tremelo expecting the spring steel style with tail stock and was disappointed when it arrived with the Bigsby style. It's been disconnected for over thirty years with absolutely no degradation to the sound. The sound got me over my disappointment Quality: Product quality has been excellent. The only item I have replaced is the plastic knob on the three way pickup selector. Value: This product was worth what I paid for it and more. Desirability: I love the sound. Sound: The sound of these guitars improves with age. I bought one brand new in 1972 and it just gets better every year. Support: No interaction with Gibson since I've owned it. Overall: I would be devastated if my Gibson were to fall to ill will. It is like an old friend to me and almost irreplacable.
