Reviews of MAudio MobilePre 2x2 16-Bit 48kHz USB Interface with Microphone Preamp Feature: According to M-Audio, this device "will not power up more expensive condenser mics". What a crock of $&%(*!!!! I tried using it on a pair of AT 3035s, a pair of AT 3031s, and a pair of AT 3525s and this device would lose power to the first mic as soon as you plugged in the second mic...EVERY time! This device should not be referred to as a two channel mic pre!! Quality: Very dissatisfied. Desirability: If I wanted a single channel mic pre, I would have bought one. Sound: This unit is very clean. Support: It was tech support who informed me that I had bought a single channel device...a day and a half later.
