Reviews of Marshall Electronics MXLV69 Mogami Edition Studio Microphone with Case Quality: The only mic I have ever recorded with in studio that required nothing to enhance my voice. No EQ or other electronic toys. What you work at as a vocalist for years is put down exactly as you sound. Value: I've tried the MXL 63E and the 69E vs. the "N" mics. If you spend more an another mic, you are throwing some hard earned bucks away. Desirability: The Gold is just "nice to sing into". Call me a romantic. Sound: I sing the blues and this mic has it all. Fresh from the pipes to the deck to the CD. Told the sound man to put it in the can without touching a thing except volume! Support: First one came in DOA. Called ZZounds and they put another in the mail that day. Got the new one in a couple of days and it works like it should. Overall: When it dies..... I'll have another one on order.
