Reviews of Marshall MG100DFX 2-Channel Combo Guitar Amplifier with DFX (100 Watts, 1x12) Feature: Came with foot pedal. Quality: I've only had this amp for a short time. The first time I put it in my back seat the voluume control knob broke off by just brushing against the seat! looks like cheap pot metal. The plastic knob didn't break the shaft broke right off! Value: Some 90 watt Fender amps have real celestion speakers. All the ads for this amp advertise this has a celestion speaker. It has an eminence speaker. the marshall website only says custom 12" speaker! a cross reference guide informed me that the eminence is standard equipment. I'm not sure why this amp is advertized several places with celestion speakers. I feel misled. Desirability: For the money I thought this would be a practical addion to my gear. I now feel like maybe I should have shopped a little longer. Sound: Great sound and very loud. Support: have not called marshall. Overall: the marshall website only says custom 12" speaker! a cross reference guide at http://www.eminencespeaker.com/eminence/pages/resources02/guitarXref.htm informed me that the eminence is standard equipment. I'm not sure why this amp is advertized several places with celestion speakers. I feel misled.
