Nothing more nothing less, and that is why it was selected because my company didn't want any frills, just good preamps going into the mixer Quality: Very solid and well made unit. Sound: It sounds clean, I use it for live sound reinforcement going digital into an 01v96k mixer, so I really couldn't tell you too much beyond it is a very transparent preamp.
