Reviews of Roland FP5 88-Note Digital Piano with Speakers
Feature: I love that the note-holder is clear transparent, so I do not get seperatet from my listener or the band and have still the possibility to place sheet-music if needed.
Quality: Great metal casing. Looks expensive and elegant.
Value: I have 2 FP5, one for the studio and one for the GIGs, and I can do this, because the price of $ 1400 is just fine. There are a little better e-pianos on the marked, but they are $ 1000 more expensive, and this was to much money for the improvment.
Desirability: It looks very elegant, great for dinner music or living room. Great that you can buy matching stand.
Sound: Real piano like sound,...gave only 9, because high oktaves are a little week in relation the beautifull sound of the mid and low range. I compensate this by using doal voicing (Piano 1 withe Pad/strings 5) for Newage songs and rock ballades. So please start to make the higher oktaves in the pianosounds stronger, more full or little more chorus. The build in speakers should be stronger. (10W each!)
Support: In the last 15 years I never had a problem with my Roland keyboards. I have 2-4 GIGs a week and bought every 5 years the next generation of roland e-pianos.
