Reviews of Tascam DM24 24-Channel Digital Mixer Feature: Great features but see below. Quality: I bought this refurbished but it was like-new. It's pretty much built like a tank. Value: Good value. I got mine refurbished. But Tascam/TEAC messed it up real good. Sound: Sounds great but see below. Support: Beware. I sent mine in because it had a busted TDIF port. They deny it, but I know it's busted. It gets worse. So I sent it in and got it back. Scratches on the side and top of the board. Screws were broken that holds the armrest. I sent it back in. They fixed the armrest but didn't bother with the scratches. The icing on the cake is there are a missing rubber feet when I got it back the second time! They are a bunch of idiots down there at TEAC California. I would recommend this product but make sure you don't send it in to TEAC. Have a local guy do any repairs. TEAC will mess up your DM-24. They reluctantly are ordering a replacement cover for the board. It's going to take 6 to 8 weeks. Add that to the 3 weeks they already wasted to scuff up my board.Stay away from this board. STAY AWAY! Go with Yamaha!!! Overall: The product is a good one. I just cannot get over my personal experiences with TEAC. Shame on them. I will never buy another product from Tascam ever again.
