Reviews of Tascam US428 USB Digital Audio Workstation Controller (Windows or Macintosh) Feature: lots of knobs and dials Quality: built solid Value: it doesn't work Desirability: I do want this product. I know it sounds like a contradiction, but if it worked, I would really love it! Sound: The sound is great Support: It crashes under windows 2000 and XP. I have tried on atleast 10 different computers over the last 2 years of owning this thing. I use cubase SX, so this thing is useless to me. No one will give me any helpful information on getting this thing working right. It still crashes any win2k/XP system that I put it on. Their USB drivers suck. I should have known better than to get a usb 1.1 pro audio device. We should all get a free USB 2.0 upgrade on this thing. Overall: Tascam, fix this problem.
